Founded by Mark Ciferri, a third-generation builder with a background in civil engineering, Atlantic Building Contractors has been delivering exceptional custom homes, renovations, additions, and spec builds for over 25 years. Mark’s lifelong exposure to the construction business, combined with decades of hands-on project leadership, gives clients the rare blend of technical precision and real-world problem-solving.

A Builder with Deep Roots and Proven Experience

Mark began his career working alongside his father and grandfather—both seasoned builders—before earning a degree in Civil Engineering. He quickly moved from site-level roles to managing high-end residential builds, always guided by the belief that a successful home project is a partnership, not just a transaction.

His professional experience includes:

  • 1992–1996 – Construction Management Technology (CMT), Bedford, NY
    Worked under Nadler Philopena & Associates, gaining foundational skills in construction oversight and project coordination.

  • 1997–2002 – Country Club Homes, New Canaan, CT
    Served as construction manager for over 40 luxury homes, including both custom and speculative builds.

  • 2002–Present – Atlantic Building Contractors, Inc.
    Established his own firm with a focus on high-quality residential and commercial construction throughout Fairfield and Westchester Counties.
